The Study Hub Concept

At The Study Hub Norman, we use specialized teachers to meet students at their exact level.  Our clients see results with our individualized, one-on-one approach. We tutor students of all ages and all subjects. Our sessions are 55 minutes and structured to keep students engaged and growing.

Early intervention is key to helping students keep up with their academic goals. Tutored students increase an average of 2.1-grade levels over the year in comparison with non-tutored students who increase a 1.0-grade level.

The Study Hub Norman also uses a specialized program, with an individualized and tailored plan, that helps students who have dyslexia.  In most cases, we start with an assessment, to identify a students’ specific strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to build a specific plan of action for that student.

We treat every student individually and help them with the exact skills they need to be successful in school.  The confidence tutored students gain is key to creating a lifelong- learners.  Parents love that The Study Hub helps take the stress out of family-time. We also work with students from Kindergarten through college.

Test Prep

We provide one-on-one, ACT/SAT private sessions for the 4 different subtests: math, English, reading, and science. We suggest students complete at least 3 sessions for the subjects they need assistance with. Our private sessions are based on individualized needs. We also offer a five day ACT workshop the week before each national test date.

Dyslexia Services

It is a common misconception that dyslexia is a vision issue; however, dyslexia is a brain-based language learning difference. At The Study Hub, we have trained professionals who use a multi-sensory language-based curriculum to meet students’ needs. Students who struggle with dyslexia need phonological decoding and encoding to become successful readers. We usually recommend 2-3, one-on-one sessions per week for this type of reading program. The Study Hub uses a specialized program to aid students with dyslexia.

My granddaughter has gone to The Study Hub since spring break, and she was struggling in reading and probably wasn’t going to pass first grade. Her tutor Sherrie has helped her so much; she is now in 2nd grade doing great. She will continue to go to The Study Hub. We are so grateful.
